Water District No. 5

The Town of Lima Water District No. 5 has been approved and is in the design phase. The Town is working with the Town Engineer and Financing Agencies to move the project forward to the construction phase.

Jenks Rd. Watermain Transmission Main

On March 18, 2026 the Town Board held a work session to discuss an alternative option for WD#5 that included removing part of the transmission main along Rt. 5/20 and Doran Rd. and the pump station along Doran Rd. with a transmission main along Jenks Rd. connecting Jenks Rd. to Chase Rd.  This alternative option provides the possibility of eliminating the pump station and improving the operational efficiency and redundancy of WD#5.  The Town Board will be considering adding the Jenks Rd. transmission main to the project as an alternate bid at the April 7, 2026 Town Board meeting.  The properties along the proposed Jenks Rd transmission main are not in the water district and will not be required to connect or pay the debt service.
