Water Turn On/Off Request

*A fee of $25 will be charged for a requested water turn off or on. Effective 02/15/2023.

Livingston County Water & Sewer Authority will turn the water off seasonally if requested. The water must be shut off by LCWSA staff and any damages caused by improper use of LCWSA equipment is the responsibility of the property owner. Please contact us at (585) 346-3523 to schedule a shut off. Although, we do request the owner be present, the form below gives permission for the LCWSA to turn on or off the water at a specified property in the resident’s absence. LCWSA will not be held responsible for any issues that may result from the owner’s absence.

*Please note: Per the Water Service Rules & Regulations, Section 9.3 “The curb stop may not be used by the customer for turning on or shutting off the water supply.” and Section 10.2 “All penalties will be in accordance with the Rate Schedule in effect at the time the penalty is assessed.”
